无阀式煤油脉冲爆震火箭发动机工作循环特性研究

摘要:
为了探索脉冲爆震火箭发动机(Pulse Detonation Rocket Engine,PDRE)在无阀自适应工作方式下的工作特性,采用煤油为燃料,富氧空气为氧化剂,开展了验证性实验,并分析了单个工作循环中不同过程的特征时间。实验实现了PDRE在工作频率为60Hz下稳定工作。结果表明,在PDRE稳定工作的前提下,从点火到排气之间的时间相对固定;推进剂的填充时间占用了单个周期内的大部分时间,是限制发动机工作频率提高的主要因素;适当提高填充压力有助于提高PDRE工作频率;实验测得60Hz工作频率下,推进剂比冲为122±11s。

Study on Cycle Processes of a Valveless Kerosene-Fueled Pulse Detonation Rocket Engine

Abstract:
In order to study on the pulse detonation rocket engine at high frequency, experimental verification was performed on the valveless self-adaptive mode. Kerosene was utilized as fuel, and oxygen-enriched air as oxidizer. Characteristic time of each process during one cycle was also analyzed.?Fully developed detonation waves at a steady operating frequency of 60Hz were successfully obtained in the PDRE. The results indicated that, the time from ignition to exhaust is relatively fixed. Propellants injection occupied most of the time during one operating cycle, which limited the maximum frequency of the engine. It is feasible to improve the upper limit operating frequency of the PDRE by increasing the injection pressure in an appropriate range. The propellant-based specific impulse is 122±11s when the operating frequency of the engine is 60Hz.
