| The history of environmental barrier coatings was summarized. The features and application status of different materials and preparation techniques of environmental barrier coatings were analyzed. Various assessment methods and failure modes of the coatings were introduced. Some suggesstions for speeding up the development of environmental barrier coatings were proposed according to the relevant research status and technical difficulties. |
