为了研究5kW离子推力器功率宽范围工作能力,采用试验的方法得到阳极电流和屏栅电压与其性能的影响关系。研究结果表明:离子束流随阳极电流增大呈线性增大。当屏栅电压增加时,推力器离子束流先增大然后趋于稳定,加速栅电流单调减小。推力随功率增大呈线性增长,比冲随功率的增大呈非线性增长,在功率308~4813W下实现了推力12~184mN,比冲1817~3538s,效率34%~67%的宽范围调节。同时推力器效率随功率增大逐渐增大,并在2902W时存在明显拐点,在实际在轨应用中要根据任务需求确定最佳工作区间,提高推力器性能和效率。 |

In order to study the operating performance of 5kW ion thruster over a wide range of input power,the effects of anode current and screen grid voltage on performance of 5kW ion thruster are presented by experimental method.The results show that ion beam current increases linearly with anode current.When the screen grid voltage increases,ion beam current tends to be stable after a corresponding increase, and the acceleration grid current decreases monotonically. Thrust increases linearly and specific impulse increases nonlinearly with input power,the ion thruster can operate steadily over an input power envelope of 308~4813W,thrust range of 12~184mN,specific impulse variation of 1817~3538s,and efficiency range of 0.34~0.67. The efficiency increases with increasing input power, there is an adjusted turning at the input power 2902W, the best adjustment interval should be selected according to the task in the practice application. Controlling these parameters reasonably can improve the stability of characteristics and efficiency. |
