超声速气流中液体燃料雾化数值模拟

摘要:
为了模拟超声速气流中液体射流的雾化,发展了一种液滴破碎混合模型。该模型将Kelvin-Helmhotz(K-H)模型和Rayleigh-Taylor(R-T)波动模型耦合在一起,首先计算R-T波增长模型,当R-T模型不能导致液滴破碎时,然后计算K-H波增长模型。利用该模型对来流Ma=1.94的超声速气流中的水射流的雾化进行了数值模拟。模拟结果再现了超声速气流中射流的雾化结构,计算得到的射流穿透深度、颗粒直径分布和速度分布与实验结果吻合较好。

Numerical simulation of liquid fuel atomization in supersonic crossflow

Abstract:
In order to simulate the liquid fuel atomization in supersonic crossflow,a hybrid spray atomization model was developed.The model combines two different Kelvin-Helmhotz(K-H) and Rayleigh-Taylor(R-T) wave models.The calculations of the R-T model are performed firstly.If the R-T model does not result in a breakup,the droplet breakup is then simulated using the K-H model.Using the theory model,a water jet atomized in a supersonic crossflow with Mach number 1.94 was simulated.Numerical results regenerate the spray structure of jet atomized in supersonic crossflow,and give good agreement with experimental data for spray penetration,droplet size and velocity.
