Abstract:
Two-dimensional laser-supported detonation(2D LSD) wave models based on 1D LSD wave proposed by Raizer were built,in which the distribution of the incident laser intensity in the focal area of lightcraft was considered. Then the sphere LSD wave,semi-sphere LSD wave and 2D LSD wave, which coupled with the fluid controlled equations, were solved respectively under the same incident laser power. The propulsive performances of lightcraft which had different distribution of the incident laser intensity in focus area were studied. The results show that the thrust and impulse coupling coefficient obtained from the three models are accordant under the same laser absorptive energy. It implies that the propulsive performance of the lightcraft is not greatly affected by the distribution of energy in the focal area.
