在美国海军研究生院及斯坦福大学的脉冲爆震发动机 (PDE)模型上 ,应用两种新发展的二极管激光诊断技术———光吸收 /高温辐射组合测定法和多路复合可调二极管激光 (TDL)技术 ,测量了其中的温度、各燃烧产物组分等重要参数 ,并与传统方法所得结果进行对比 ,说明新方法可靠、准确 ,适合爆震燃烧流场这种特殊环境 ,测量精度更高 ,而且更加简便、快捷

Diode-Laser based diagnostics for pulse detonation engine

Abstract:
Newly developed diode laser absorption techniques for in situ measurements of flow properties were adapted to pulse detonation engines (PDEs). Two diagnostic concepts were presented and demonstrated: a sensor employing four multiplexed diode lasers operating in the 1 300 mm-1 800 nm spectral region for monitoring gas temperature and H2O concentration and a two wavelength modulated diode laser diagnostic for sensing soot temperature and soot volume fraction. The important parameters, such as temperature of post detonation gases, species mole fraction, soot volume fraction and soot temperature, were determined. Good agreement with the results from conventional methods permits confidence in measurement accuracy. The sensors’ fast time response and non intrusive nature make them suitable and convenient for measurements in the hostile environments generated by PDEs. The success of these measurements demonstrates the potential of diode laser sensors for PDE model validation and possible use for on-board sensing and control systems.
